History
KLIF ehf was established in 1966 by Svavar Davíðsson and family. The company is still operated by that same family, with the exception of one staff member, Kristján Jónas Svavarsson, becoming part owner.
The company specialises in servicing the metal industry, and as time has gone by the company has also added side products along with necessities for the shipping industry. We have in store almost everything concerning welding like welding machines, grinding products, cables, gloves, welding guns to name just a few product categories. Among necessities for the shipping industry Klif sell products like aluminium hull anodes, sealing rubber and zinc.
The company has during its long life had the privilege of gaining a large customer base, such as companies in the metal industry, in road construction, building contractors, aluminium industry, fishing industry, along with independent contractors.
Current employers are 5-6 and thereof four with full educational licence in relevant industries. Klif has emphasized having the products in stock and provides customers with excellent service. Our products are bought straight from the producer without any intermediaris and act as an agent for over 40 production companies.
